The Arts House Trust is a registered charitable trust and free public gallery dedicated to showcasing and supporting contemporary art and artists in Aotearoa New Zealand. As kaitiaki of one of the country’s largest private collections of contemporary New Zealand art, your support enables us to present exhibitions, public programmes, educational initiatives, and expand access to the collection through our nationally recognised Art Loans Programme.

Your contribution helps preserve and share this significant cultural taonga, support artists and curators at every stage of their careers, and ensure meaningful arts experiences remain accessible for future generations.

Why Your Support Matters

Each year, The Arts House Trust presents up to 20 exhibitions and a wide range of free public programmes. We also provide free entry to the public, welcoming over 150,000 visitors to the Pah Homestead annually. Examples of activities made possible through your contribution:

Present contemporary exhibitions by emerging, mid-career, and established artists in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Deliver free tours, children’s workshops, talks, and public programmes, including Community Whānau Day.
Care for and share a nationally significant contemporary art collection comprising nearly 9,000 pieces.
Expand access to contemporary art through our Art Loans Programme.
