The Arts House Trust presented a series of art tours and events from 27 April – 3 May as part of the Aotearoa Art Fair VIP Programme.

Works from The Arts House Trust Collection were exhibited at Hanly House in Mt Eden, with the support of the Hanly extended whānau, and in an architecturally designed private home in Herne Bay, in partnership with Wall Real Estate.

Hanly House

The Arts House Trust hosted a series of intimate tours at the historic Hanly House in Mt Eden— the home where artists Pat and Gil once lived, worked, and hosted vibrant events for the creative community in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

Showcasing a total of 30 works by both artists from the Trust’s collection, the tours created an intimate atmosphere and allowed visitors to connect with the Hanly legacy while learning more about The Arts House Trust programmes.

Wall Real Estate

In partnership with Wall Real Estate, The Arts House Trust team carefully selected around 20 works from the Collection to display in an architecturally designed private home in picturesque Herne Bay, Auckland.

Works by renowned New Zealand artists such as Star Gossage, Bill Sutton, Bill Hammond, Judy Millar, and Emma McIntyre were complemented by exquisite, light-filled interiors and panoramic views over the bay.

The combination of contemporary art and architectural design was a highlight for our guests, who learnt about the Trust’s collection and Art Loans programme in a unique setting.

Both events were made possible by our bespoke Art Loans programme, which offers tailored artwork selections from The Arts House Trust Collection for long-term loan to organisations and corporate offices across Aotearoa New Zealand.
