Music at Midday: Natarani Witten Hannah and Joanne Klein A Recital for Cello and Piano

Natarani and Joanne are are delighted to offer a programme of dramatic and beautiful music from the great European Classical Tradition.
They have greatly enjoyed sharing this programme at various Auckland venues since 2024.

Natarani Witten Hannah holds a Master of Music in Performance Cello from the University of Canterbury, and has been teaching and performing in Auckland for the past 25 years.

She plays in a diverse range of orchestral groups and small ensembles, and offers music for all events featuring duos with piano or classical guitar, and string quartet.

Joanne Klein holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Auckland and she is also a qualified Secondary School Music Teacher. Joanne's subsequent post graduate education includes studying and teaching Classical Piano in Vienna, Austria. Whilst living there she also attained the LRSM Diploma in Piano performance.
Since her return to New Zealand, Joanne enjoys a varied career. This includes teaching Piano privately and at Secondary Schools, performing chamber music with various instrumentalists, accompanying, and she is a regular Classical and Jazz examiner for Trinity College of music.


Music at Midday returns to Pah Homestead with an hour of free live music from 12 to 1pm each Saturday.

Auckland is rich with a diverse range of creative musical talent and we celebrate this every week.  Sit down in the drawing room to enjoy the live music, or peruse the galleries while you listen to the music drifting through the building.
