The Arts House Trust Collection: Chasing Rainbows

17 January — 22 March 2026

Chasing Rainbows
The Arts House Trust Collection

Chasing Rainbows showcases works from The Arts House Trust Collection that explore the captivating spectrum of colour.

Throughout history, the rainbow has held rich and varied meanings — from a divine promise in ancient cultures to a symbol of hope and renewal. Today, the rainbow is most closely associated with Pride, where it stands as a powerful emblem of diversity and unity. Featuring works by a range of contemporary artists from Aotearoa, this exhibition invites us to reflect on the emotional and symbolic power of colour.

Presented in alignment with Auckland Pride Festival.
