Fire & Clay, Contemporary Ceramics 2013 showcases recent ceramic works created by members of the Auckland Studio Potters (ASP). Works in the exhibition are available for sale through the Pah Gallery Shop.

The ASP, representing around 360 members, has promoted and supported potters and ceramic artists in Auckland and beyond for over 50 years. Their studio is based in Onehunga, Auckland.

Fire & Clay will show over 60 of Auckland's best ceramic artists and potters including Rachel Carter, Julie Collis, Peter Collis, Suzy Dünser, Penny Ericson, Chuck Joseph, Peter Lange, Ann O'Sullivan, John Parker, Helen Perrett, Jo-Anne Raill, Elena Renker, Nadine Spalter, Duncan Shearer, Christine Thacker, Merilyn Wiseman and Helen Yau.

The ASP’s 49th annual exhibition of contemporary ceramics is selected by Graeme Storm, a professional potter for over 50 years, whose work can be found in museums and galleries in New Zealand and overseas. Graeme has an abiding interest in colour in high-fired ceramics, working in stoneware and porcelain (mainly wheel and slab work) from his studio in Torbay, Auckland.
