About the Judges
Grace Lai
Currently the Curator of Applied Arts and Design at Auckland Museum, stewarding the development, research and exhibition of a nationally significant archive of craft.
Peata Larkin
A contemporary artist with works in important collections throughout New Zealand and internationally, including the Memphis Museum of Fine Arts in USA.
Moyra Elliott
Ceramic artist, writer, curator, moderator and contributor to the ceramic community both nationally and internationally with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Nicole Gaston
Dr Nicole Gaston is an artist and academic in Pōneke, Aotearoa, with a multi-disciplinary background in art, arts leadership and research. Gaston’s creative practice explores ideologies, politics, and social constructs through functional ceramics, textiles and writing. Gaston is currently the Chairperson for Ceramics New Zealand and the Library & Research Manager at Te Kura o Toi Whakaari.
