Foam Painting Workshop with Sarah Cowie
Experiment with foam printing and painting to celebrate the Auckland Heritage Festival! Inspired by scenery and sporting events of the 1950s Commonwealth Games, participants will begin by painting the scene where their print will be placed. They will then draw on foam board which will be used to print a relief of their drawing onto their painting.
This event is part of the Auckland Heritage Festival for 2025.
About Sarah Cowie
Sarah Cowie is a multi-disciplinary artist and art tutor based in Tāmaki Makaurau. In 2021 she graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts with a Master of Fine Arts achieved with Honours. Her practice specialises in puppetry, photography, and videography, along with painting and illustration.
