Music at Midday:
Sarah Marlowe Spence
Sarah Marlowe Spence is a singer songwriter with a varied repertoire. With a folk-classical voice, her music is at times a deep reflection on life and experience yet can include humorous narratives on failed relationships.
Sarah has classical voice training and after a music paper at university, she started playing guitar and writing songs. Sarah lived overseas for some time and spent time living in a yoga retreat and study centre. This influenced her music to include a Sanskrit repertoire which she also shares on occasion accompanying yoga classes with music and in group singing events at places such as yoga studios.
Music at Midday is a monthly series at Pah Homestead, offering an hour of free live music from 12–1PM on Saturdays.
Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland is home to a diverse range of musical talent, which this programme celebrates each month. Sit in our historic drawing room to enjoy the performance, or explore the gallery while the music drifts through the building.
