at Pah Homestead

Discover Pah Homestead’s rich history and architecture, followed by Hill House Café’s renowned High Tea in its elegant setting.

The Arts House Trust and Hill House Café offer a rare opportunity for history buffs and architecture lovers to discover the fascinating story of Pah Homestead, a 19th-century Italianate mansion set in beautiful Monte Cecilia Park. Following the tour, Hill House Café will serve its renowned High Tea in the elegant Homestead Boardroom to celebrate this year’s Heritage Festival theme, Tastes of Tāmaki: A Heritage Feast.

Your tour guide, Trish Northey

For nine years, passionate historian and storyteller Trish Northey has led heritage tours at Pah Homestead. Specialising in Aotearoa New Zealand’s history and historic architecture, Trish weaves the stories of Pah Homestead and its residents into a compelling tour experience.

Tour Times

  • Saturday 26 September

  • Sunday 27 September

  • Saturday 3 October

  • Sunday 4 October

All four tours run from 10 - 11.30AM with a Heritage High Tea in the Boardroom to follow from 11.30AM - 12.30PM.

Tickets

  • Tour only: $25

  • Tour and Tea: $79.90 (includes dietary requirements)

All tickets include exclusive access to panoramic tower views.
