Join artist Yvonne Todd for a preview of her latest exhibition, Diary of a Carrot and gain insights from the artist before the opening celebration.
Blending a range of media into an absurdist commentary on the act of eating, you’ll hear about Todd’s long-standing fascination with food as both subject and symbol, where every bite recalls a moment, a mood, or a misadventure, inviting viewers to chew on the strange ways we connect through what we consume.
This event is free but please RSVP as spaces are limited. Please note this is a standing event.
The Preview is followed by the opening of three exhibitions, A Diary of a Carrot, Auckland Studio Potters: Artist in Residency 4 and Freya Burnett: Essence, 5:30 – 7:30PM.
