Art Day for Gender Equality 2026
Hosted by 1001 Spheres

Join us on Sunday 1 March for an uplifting day of workshops, music, poetry and conversation.

Art Day for Gender Equality returns for its second year following the success of its inaugural event, once again celebrating gender equality through the lens of art and creativity.

Taking place in Monte Cecilia Park, at the site of 1001 Spheres — a public sculpture by Chiara Corbelletto — the 2026 programme unfolds from 9AM–6PM and includes workshops, performances, a poetry open mic, and culminating in a lively Art + Gender panel discussion at The Arts House Trust, Pah Homestead.

Stretch your body and your mind with morning workshops from 9am – 12:15pm. Bring a picnic, bring your friends and settle for an afternoon of uplifting entertainment in the park from 12:30pm. Then stroll up to Art House Trust for refreshments and an engaging panel discussion from 4pm.
