We are excited to announce our Artist Workshop Series, where local artists share their inspiration and skills with children in a series of free classes. Launching the first in our series is July’s Watercolour Collage Workshop. Kids are invited to join artist Kirstin Carlin for this free watercolour collage workshop inspired by our current Pauline Thompson exhibition.

Spaces will be limited and available on a first-come basis. Suitable for ages 5+.


ABOUT KIRSTIN CARLIN

Kirstin Carlin currently lives and works in Auckland and completed a Master of Fine Arts at Glasgow School of Art in 2010. She has exhibited works nationally and internationally in artist-run spaces, private galleries as well as public art institutions. She is represented by Melanie Roger Gallery

In 2020 she was commissioned by Britomart to create a major outdoor installation as well as collaborating with local fashion designer Ingrid Starnes on a new collection - a piece of which is now in the collection of Te Papa Museum of New Zealand.
